This photo series using two mirrors is a part of the thesis exhibition by Candy Lenk
at the Berlin School of Art at the Tonhaus Corso in Berlin Wedding.


“… neither the permanence of being nor the persistence of essence belong to beauty. Things, which persist, subsist or insist are neither beautiful nor distinguished. …The floating is beautiful, not the stable. Beautiful are things that carry traces of nothingness, even traces of their end already within them; things, which do not equal THEMSELVES. Beautiful is not the duration of a state, but the fleetingness of a transition. Beautiful is not the full presence, but rather a presence, that is covered with an absence.“*
