KÖRPERRAUMADAPTER (body-space-adapter) is a project led by Candy Lenk and Anja Belter at the Spatial Design Department of the architecture faculty of the Dresden University of Technology.

The human realm of movement changes drastically between early childhood and adulthood. Sitting and playing on the floor is replaced by sitting on a chair. The chair slides in between the body and the floor as an (space) adapter.

Based on an analysis of a preselected place, the students developed a site-specific object that mediates between their own bodies and the particularites of the space.
